Well. I was born to a Sierra Leonean mother and a Caribbean father but grew up in a predominantly West African environment. I work as an Education Officer for a Podiatry membership organisation and feel I've 'found my feet' (so to speak).
My life is like my very own 'sitcom', with Mum and the BDSS as key characters! As sitcoms would have it, there are times when life is not at it's best (forever sleep in my love, JTRA) but it helps to reinforce the importance of having God in my life. Events of the last few years have completely shaped the mentality and beliefs that I possess today on a variety of issues so this blog, with my fellow BDSS, is right up my alley!
